Mostly very positive but ...
Cleans very well so long as all the dirty items fit in the bottom and everything in the top (especially the cutlery rack) is fairly well rinsed beforehand. Very quiet - apart from the faintly ridiculous jingle when the cycle is complete - I will get round to looking up how to switch that off at some stage.

best features: quiet and dual wash
Really quiet machine, thought it would be over complicated but isn't at all. Cleanest washes I've ever had. 6 of us so our dishwashers take a hammering. Dual wash perfect for when no one has bothered to swill dishes before loading. Really like tune at end of program to tell its finished. Been using constantly for one month now and no problems at all. Pricey but paid in the hope that it will last...hence 3 star

Worst purchase ever
I bought the LG washer in January 2012, I agree it was not a wise choice at all, after 14 months I had the same IE error message and it stopped working. I called LG and a week later sent a Guy out to repair it, he arrived shook his head called his boss and took it away that was in May 2013, it is now almost September and they still have my machine now telling me it uneconomical to repair. After dozens of calls to LG in Berkshire their escalations team I was getting nowhere I have now bought a Bosch machine as my wife has bad psoriasis and washing up by hand is a no no. LG now want me to accept another machine however who wants a machine costing over six hundred pounds breaking down after 14 months being uneconomical to repair. What if that had happened after 24 months on the expiration of the warranty. LG have been totally awful all through this their customer service is diabolical no-one cares at all, I have chased and chased and am still chasing. See the comments on the youtube review

Nice and quiet
We chose this model mainly for its low noise figure and the steam cleaning. The steam works well on those difficult to clean items like lasagne dishes and grill plates (from a George Foreman). My only issue with it is the plastic strip that sticks to the bottom front edge (further noise reduction apparently); it looks a bit naff and if you don't use it you can see the front adjustable plastic feet which aren't that appealing either. Loading is also a bit more of a fiddle than our previous Bosch unit, but maybe that just takes time to adapt to.
