LG kicks off 2013 with multiple wins at CES
Continuing last year’s success, LG has won a total of ten 2013 International CES® Innovations Awards Including the distinguished “Best of Innovations” honor in the Video Displays category for our 84” class (83.9“ diagonal) Ultra-High-Definition CINEMA 3D Smart TV. Impressing everyone who lays eyes on it, the LG 84LM9600 combines Cinema 3D technology and Smart TV features on the incredibly large Ultra Definition screen.
Accompanying the Ultra-High Definition Cinema 3D Smart TVs win in the Video Display category is the highly anticipated 55” OLED TV(55EA8800) which will be available early this year. The splendid debut of the curved OLED TV(EA9800) captured everyone’s attention providing more equidistant viewing while virtually screen-edge distortion and detail loss. The very hot LG Optimus G ™ smartphone was recognized in the Wireless Handsets category for its amazing speed and power, with its quad-core processor with LTE connectivity capabilities, and enhanced UX features.

True to this years theme “Touch the Smart Life,” LG’s Smart Home Service was honored in the Integrated Home Systems & Multi-Room Audio-Video category for its intuitive interface and excellent feature set, which includes media sharing technologies of SmartShareTM with the integrated home appliance management capabilities of SmartControlTM. The SmartControlTM enables users to conveniently control their appliances via simple touch or voice commands with their smartphones no matter where they are.*
