Stunning I've always been a fan of LG's monitors. I've never had any issues with them. Never. Now finding this really WIDE and IPS monitor is really a great happening. I'm a web designer and this one gives me so much space, such beautiful colors and viewing angles that I will not hesitate and will recommend it to my colleagues. Now if you find that fonts looks funny when you connect it - make sure that you use dual link DVI cable which is in the box. All in all awesome product and even more respect to LG. Great Monitor for Editing with Adobe Premiere I've got this monitor for my company http:www.silvis.co.uk based in London to use with Adobe Premiere. It's a great monitor to edit weddings, seminars and other type of videos. The colour accuracy seems to be great too. 06 April 2013
Stunning Monitor poor Installation process To cut a very long story short my GTX 460 Nvidia card said the monitor's resolution was correct and I should select it. I did and the characters on the screen became instantly unreadable. A note in the box of the monitor said this would happen if the wrong resolution was selected. As the resolution was correct this was a puzzle. I did noticed that Nvidia said the resolution matched but had the note 60hz. I know that the UK uses 50hz for electricity so I thought I'd change that. It required a "custom" resolution with only the hz changed to 50. The screen worked, crystal clear and stunning. Truly stunning. I have a number of high end monitors and this one is in a different class. Bright, very bright. Detailed, far more dots so much better resolution. The colours look like they have a much greater depth. It's like someone has upgraded all my photos. So if the installation process could be sorted out for UK customers that would be nice. One thing that did worry me was the external power supply runs very warm and at one point the monitor would not start. By the time I found my multimeter to check the power supply it had cooled and the monitor started. I had used the monitor for about 3 hours. I hope this was a one off as it seems fine today. 07 February 2013
