Rated 3 out of 5 by Jamie Not as good as hoped, but fine
I bought two of these monitors as I had seen some good reviews of it on the internet. I paid a small premium for these over alternatives, so was hoping for something better than average.
While the viewing angles are good, looking at the screen it has a grainy quality, which I am hoping I will get used to. If you have a plain white square on the screen, it just doesn't appear plain white - it appears blotchy and shimmers as you move your head. This is all on a monitor with labels saying "The Premium Display" and with marketing blurb about its colour reproduction qualities. I would go as far as to say that while the viewing angles are noticeably better than my previous non-IPS display, the image quality is worse and at least for the moment I'm not convinced it will be easier on my eyes - in particular text doesn't seem as sharp as I'd have hoped.
The stand is wobbly, as per other reviews I saw. I've got a very rigid table, so it doesn't matter, if you don't, it will annoy you.
On the plus side, blacks seem deep and they don't seem to reflect any ambient light. They look fairly nice.
Overall, I'm disappointed. The monitors were hardly expensive, and they're far from rubbish, but I was expecting something better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Raaid Remarkable value!
I am delighted with this monitor, whose review at Expert Reviews... (http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/monitors/1287670/lg-ips235v ), where it won their 'Best Buy' award, convinced me that this IPS monitor was the one for me!
Searching around, I found that it was available at ebuyer for £128 delivered, which was £18 less than the price when reviewed, so they got my order.
The monitor base was easy to fit and connections simple, just plug and play!
Colours are accurate to my eyes and no need for any adjustment, although the menu is there should one need to.
I like the control buttons on the lower edge of the screen and the blue light which comes on at the right hand bottom of the screen surround when the monitor is powered on.
If only the stand was robust and had height adjustment, the monitor would have a 5 star rating from me.
