LG and Midwich tailor new product range to B2B market needs with Commercial Pro
Slough, 24February 2010 –LG Electronics and its Business Solutions Partner, Midwich, are pleased to announce the launch of a new product range designed for the B2B sector. A nine-strong range of Hospitality based professional products, Commercial Pro incorporates all the sleek consumer appeal of LG consumer products and is tailored to the business market with dedicated commercial warranty demanded by the B2B sector.
The Commercial Pro solution is designed to replace the existing practice of consumer TVs being sold into the business market with inappropriate warranties. The Commercial Pro model will drive sales by supplying a professional product with a business warranty into the commercial market, thereby fulfilling a customer need.
The Commercial Pro package includes five 720P models, ranging from 22” – 42” screens and four, full HD 1080P models, with screens from 32” to 47”. Both feature hotel mode settings – including menu lock out and max volume control along with RS232 control. A USB cloning facility, integrated Freeview tuners and speakers are also common to the range. Combined with the aesthetics of the very popular LH2000 and LH3000 Hotel models and new full professional warranties, the Commercial Pro package is tailor made for the B2B market.
This LG package is initially available exclusively via Norfolk-based Midwich, one of the UK’s leading AV distributors in the IT channel. It will not be available via any e-commerce or retail channels, thereby providing a sales channel where resellers can be confident of maintaining the sound margins they need to operate effectively.
This new range introduction is part of a wider project for LG. The global electronics giant recently strengthened its commitment to its B2B product range with the launch of its new Business Solutions Partner Programme, which has already signed up over 500 participating resellers.
