My LG refrigerator seems to be getting quite hot, is this normal?
Cause
Hot line pipes are fitted into the sides of the unit via the condenser to prevent condensation forming near the door. You may find that your unit may get hotter in the summer months as condensing gets more difficult when the temperature rises.
When the product is being used for the first time or in the summer, the compressor will
run for much longer to produce the cooler air and in turn this generates heat. This is
completely normal and not a defect. In the summer, the product may repeatedly get hot
and cool due to low heat radiation. Install the refrigerator where air circulates well and
keep a distance of 5 centimeters from the back and both sides of the wall.
