Issue:

Smell from rubber materials around the motor may occur for new products.

The smell will eventually fade away. It is the similar to the smells from new furniture or vehicles.

※ Using odor eliminators in the motor protection filter can help to reduce the smell.

Reasons

 1. Vacuum cleaners suck in dust with motor.
 2. Rubber packing is used for vacuum cleaners to minimize vibration noise of rotation motor.
