Why is Wi-Fi consuming power after a factory reset, even when I've switched it off?
■ “Location” and “Allow Wi-Fi Scanning” options are defaulted to being
on after Factory Reset.
This allows the Wi-Fi applications to scan for available channels even when
Wi-Fi is in Switched off condition.
How to fix
■ Switch off the “Location” and/or “Allow Wi-Fi Scanning” option
- Settings > Wi-Fi > Options > Advanced Wi-Fi
e.g.: “Allow Wi-Fi Scanning”, “Scanning always available”
