Spent many frustrating hours trying to get this thing to work until I discovered that it doesn't work with the latest model. Same deal with the Skype camera. Surely LG is smart enough to make compatible accessories. Might be a good idea to print a user manual or at least make it downloadable too. This is my first experience with LG and probably my last.

Alternative for lg 2012 tv owners
i had the same issue guys. purchased the mr200 and found that it doesn't work on my lm6200.
Solution is to download the iphone app, Lg Magic !!! does the job until the mr300 becomes affordable

AN-MR200 not working with 42LM6200
LG should make clear that this model remote does NOT work with 42LM6200.
Tried many times. Reset etc etc.
Seems to be working like "normal remote". No magic !!!

Having troubles
My remote can only change channels and volume. The curser has never come up on my screen no matter how many times I 're-set' it!
Where's the magic!!???
