Despite contacting HP Customer Support, who I understand are responsible for my PC support and receiving extremely useful support from them. The screen still continues to drop its signal and this is with any one of the three possible connection options. The screen drops its signal as soon as another piece of graphics based software has an update.
I wish I could be more positive, because I expected far better than this, including some way to troubleshoot on the LG website!!

I used the reserve and collect service which was simply and quick to use. I decided on this particular tv as it has 2 scart sockets which we needed to plug a dvd player and an old playstation 2 into. The screen size is really small compared to other 22inch screen tvs, at least an inch smaller, but the picture quality is excellent and so is the sound. Although be warned that the on screen menu's are estremely small so cant see them unless you're right in front of screen. Also when you change channels there is no 'now and next' information. Overall the tv has lots of other good features including a on/off timer which you only have to set once, good for use in kids room (no late night viewing) Have tried lots of LCd tv's and this one was by-far the best for the money.

I reserved this set before going to look at it. Compared to other 22" sets it seemed quite small - but I bought one after talking over the alternatives with the Comet staff (usually well worthwhile).
And what a good decision. The picture is excellent, the sound quality is good, and the controls are simple and logical (quite a rarity on modern TVs). There are even some good basic controls on the top edge of the set itself.
I even like the way the TV lists analogue and terrestial digital stations together - rather than separately as on the other flatscreen TVs I've seen.
The instruction manual is not bad - but the CD it comes on is a pest. When 'running', it tries to access the internet and do all sorts of other things. (I used 'Explore CD' to find and download the manual myself. In fact it's just a pdf file.)
The LG 22LH2000 is the best set I have seen for the price. Assuming it proves reliable over time, I'd not hesitate to buy another LG.
