My requirement was a full HD 32" set with a built in HD decoder. Given those requirements at the time, the range of tv's available was very limited. The LG met all of my needs at a much lower cost than it's nearest rival. It has a great picture and I would recomment to anyone.
In conjunction with the LG adaptor it links seamlessly with my wireless router and enjoys the added extras of the installed software.
The only drawbacks I have found, it only has 1 USB port, 2 would have been much more convenient and it has no switch to turn the set off from the mains, it is forever on standby. However I would certainly give it 9 out of ten and recommend strongly. A Good buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Matt Very good with only one problem
Generally a very good TV - am very pleased with this for the price.
The picture quality is excellent, but being an LCD set with normal back-lighting (i.e. not LED) dark scenes can look a little poor.
The sound is very good for a modern set. Most seem to assume you will add external surround decoder and speakers and so give awful sound, but this set is pretty good and I can even make out what people are saying in films!
The extra features are amazing for the price - Freeview HD works perfectly, even with the poor signal we have. BBC iPlayer is fantastic - much better than on a PC, and with dedicated pause, rewind/forward etc. on the remote it is almost as good as a PVR.
So why only 4 stars? Well, every set I have had for years has obeyed the signals from the Sky box that says what aspect ratio to display the picture in, and changed as required. With this one I need to manually select the right ratio (which can take 7 or 8 button presses)

Bought this LG TV for the bedroom, very good picture, and I was impressed with the sound quality. Very good list of features, HD Freeview, full 1080p TV, Picture quality is very good after I changed some of the colour, contrast and brightnest settings to suit.
Not the best looking surround but not to bad.
Great TV for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anon Easy to set up, good picture and sound, HD Freeview well worth having. Appears to have ample connectivity but cannot comment on its usefulness as I don't use it!
Suround (black glossy plastic) is a little reflective and distracting - better if it were matt. Overall build looks a little flimsy compared with the Toshiba it replaced, but probably good enough.
