Good for gaming, OK for TV.
Used mainly to play Xbox games.
Picture quality in full HD is very good.
Took some fiddling to get the best mixture of contrast/brightness etc. The built-in config wizard got close, but kept cranking the contrast up too high.
Picture still seems slightly "jittery" in Standard Def images.
Built-in iPlayer support is simple to use. Needs a special Wifi dongle (or you can use an ethernet cable).
Overall, good for the price.

the picture is amazing on this tv. Its a bore needing a dongle to view internet, so i still watch iplayer through connecting the wii. I wish there would be info at the bottom of the screen when changing channels, so that i knew what programme i could see, but i've not read the handbook yet and maybe i'll find that i can set it up to do that. the viewing angle is also very wide with no loss of picture quality. I love it....

I went with the LG 32LD690 after reading up on various reviews of 100Hz/32" LCD's and was not disappointed . Set-up was a breeze. It found all the freeview HD channels along with SD channels easily (with only my cheap 30 year old internal aerial). The picture quality was excellent. Sound quality wasn't the best and I didn't expect it to be. You really need a decent surround system attached to get the best out of any TV (in my opinion). But it was when I played Blu-rays that this screen came into it's own. The detail and clarity of the picture just blew me away. Colours were true and the contrast was deep (not quite plasma but getting there). Overall, very impressive for the price.

Better than expected
Once I set my sky+ box to PAL output the Freeview picture is excellent. On Sky+ with scart it is a little pasty.
The iPlayer picture via Netcast is also first class
Very pleased with purchase
