Does what it said it would
I bought this TV because I wanted a freesat tuner built in. It works absolutely fine and does 'all it says on the tin' to paraphrase a well known ad.
The hiccups are it takes a relatively long time to buffer the EPGs; stalls and freezes if one channel hops on the EPG too quickly necessitating a reboot and the remote developed some lazy buttons very quickly which is very annoying. It's a shame that the set doesn't have a freeview HD tuner nor is it internet smart but then again it was at a good price and is now a discontinued model.

Purchased this 10 days ago. Set up is really simple taking just a few minutes. Using a spare output from exisiting Sky dish for the freesat. Over 100 freesat tv channels (over 200 more on non-freesat) + Freeview and analogue (which I now never use). For an LCD the sound is outstanding (I dont bother putting the 5.1 system on for normal TV now) and the picture is also far better than my old LG plasma. Straight out of the box its not so good, but spend some time playing with the setup and its really good for the money. Highly recommended.

Its been just over a week since I purchased this TV and am I glad. Brought it along with an LG 5.1 DVD home theatre system with 1080 upscaling.....Got the home theatre free with the in-store offer. The TV with its built in freesat tuner is funtastic. Just removed the satelite cable from my sky box and connected straight to the TV. Autotuning was quick and soon I had 200+ freesat channels including BBC HD. Unfortunately in Scotland ITV HD not yet available.
Then there is also the Non-freesat tuning. This found another 250 odd channels. All this ... subscription free. (I havent counted any of the radio channels yet!!)
Picture quality is great and so is the sound .. 5.1 surround through the optical output. Overall I am very pleased despite the cost. Would certainly recomend.
