Great picture but has its limitations
A great picture but the the sound quality was awful. LG came and picked it up to repair the horrible vibration and now it's OK. I certainly wouldn't rave about the sound, but at least 99% of the vibration has gone. Unfortunately LG have only seen fit to have BBC IPlayer installed as catchup. None of the other UK catchup stations, 4 OD, ITV Player etc are there. Hopefully they will arrive at some time in the future. I also had to move my router closer to the TV as anything but the strongest WiFi signal and Love Film etc simply pixelated and stalled. Now that I have BT Vision for all the catchup channels that aren't there, and I have fixed my router problems, I can get everything, but its not an ideal solution. With regard to the on-board Internet, like a lot of Smart TV interfaces, navigation is a real pain. A Smart wifi keypad would be much better than up,down, left, right - select etc with the remote, for each character. I like the fact that the 42" screen, being framed by very little plastic, means that its only about an inch taller and wider than my previous TV that had a 37" screen. Visually it takes up a similar amount of space in the room. Generally it's fine, but as an ex teacher I feel that for a SMART TV report I am bound to write, "Could do better with more effort and concentration to detail"

Very good purchase
Bought it on Christmas from TESCO. Very good customer service and excellent TV. Colours are vibrant and picture looks life like. Moreover very easy to set up and give full marks to TESCO customer services for recommending and assisting me to buy this product.
Must recommended for all.

TV was ok, service poor
Picture was ok, nice chassis, the images did look a bit over processed and juddery during motion scenes. The SCART adapter didnt work and I must have spent 3 hours on the phone to LG trying to get a resolution. They were rubbish, they didn't even know that my model of TV didnt have a scart socket and it came with an adapter. One representative asked me "if you're using a scart adapter, why don't you go to currys and buy another?" I explained to him that it was a proprietary adapter supplied with the TV and he didnt understand. Nobody called back when they said they would either. In the end, I took it back to Richer Sounds and got a refund and bought a Panasonic from John Lewis which was £200 cheaper and does a much better job.
