Capacitor problem, sounds familiar? It broke after 3.5 years. Will never be buying LG electronics again, such a waste of money.

This is a seriously good TV. The picture quality is flawless. The 3D works well. I have heard many people say that it is not as good as the active systems around, but I cannot see a difference. Yes there are a few little issues that need addressing. The flash on the web browser is out of date and renders lots of website useless. Also the DLNA connection is a little dodgy and can cut out without a reason. I can see no reason why both of these issues cannot be rectified with a firmware update. Be aware that although Netflix is used in many of the adverts for this TV, is not available in the UK (at time of writing). Love film however is.
There are enough connections to baffle even the most anorak of us, but it remains a simple TV to use.
Overall Get this TV, especially as you can pick them, up really cheap now.
LG please sort out the minor issues with Flash and DLNA.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PaulG Great TV BUT only supports Flashplayer 8.
In most respects this TV meets all my requirements.
The one BIG problem is that it only supports Flashplayer 8.
It cannot be used as a normal web browser because
most video is from sites using Flashplayer 10 or 11.
Apparently there is no mechanism for upgrading.
This means that normal access to Youtube, iplayer, 4OD
etc is impossible.
The TV gives great picture quality, great 3D and is easy
to use. The passive 3D menas that the glasses are cheap
If only it had Flashplayer 10.
