Have had 2 of these TVs over the past 18 months both have broke down.. I have been informed the last one is un-repairable... Quality / reliability is non existent and the customer service just say its an electronic device.... I've had £9.99 kettles last longer than their products.

Bought it and had to return and get a replacement in the first month, 18 months down the line the power supply has packed in again.... result out of warranty and no TV buy at your peril. I will stick to tried and tested brands and avoid LG in the future Costly mistake £1000 for dodgy equipment that only lasts 18months.
It has a fantastic picture quality when it worked but that's not a good enough reason to buy when they keep breaking down

Bought tv in January 2012 as was inpressed with price and features it had on it, but now not so happy after this short time the picture has packed up only having vertical lines on screen, you would think that something like a tv with no moving parts and which is just placed in one place should last far longer than this. This has left feeling that i will not be purchasing Lg products in the future

I bought this TV mainly to watch 3D and play on the PS3, the 3D is excellent and looks as clear as anything, no real crosstalk and the best pop-out effects I've seen thus far. The standard definition is ok but panning scenes are terrible, motion blur city in fact but messing with the settings may cure that.
Now the biggest disappointment, the 47" LW450u TV IS PLAGUED BY LAG INPUT AND RENDERS PS3 GAMES UNPLAYABLE. Labelling the HDMI input as PC helps cure a bit of the lag but games are still twice as hard compared to most other TV's. Avoid this TV as most households play the Xbox, PS3 or Wi at some stage.
