Beautiful picture let down by software support
This has to be the best television i have ever owned and I havent found one with nearly the same features.
I researched for 3 months before I finally chose this masterpiece of Telly design.
Picture quality is superlative.
Smart features are great and work extremely well. The tv does have one slight issue and that is when it is switched on sometimes it stays in standby mode with the red light on and nothing you press on the remote works - pulling the plug at the back for ten seconds seems to fix it.
Unfortunately the smart internet apps is not updated now - it seems like LG sell you the thing then give up support once its out of date which is a shame as the apps are pretty good - skype is missing which is a shame. That doesnt really detract much for me as the DLNA ability is top notch so i can stream from my Nas box or any of my pc's and youtube is simply a joy to use - i can add videos to my watch later list and come home and watch exactly what i want - superb.
Amazing connectivity with a socket for just about any device and more hdmi sockets than you can shake a stick at.No recording to Usb facility whichis not really a deal breaker as everyone seems to have Either a Tivo ro Sky box these days.Price was excellent, beautiful tv, top quality and just minor niggles.

Great picture but poor reliability
Product was ok to start with but three years to the day screen went and I'm struggling to get replacement. Seemed like good quality item at a good price but not the case if it only lasts 3 years.

I'v owned this TV for around 3 years now, it hasn't skipped a beat. It's easy to use and has plenty of connections, perfect for a media-head like me.

This TV was a big step up for us, but independent of thy, I have to say the quality of the picture is excellent. The only downside is a well-recognised problem that was acknowledged by the repair man: the cooling fins at the back make a significant hum when the screen has a lot of white on it. Pity, smashing TV otherwise
