Stunning colour and depth. Excellent 3D. Great Smart features and the addition of having the normal remote as well as the magic remote, makes control very easy. Great styling. The only negative is the volume, which I believe is a common problem with thin TV's.

I have just purchased this 55", LED Smart TV. It has got a very nice picture, but very disappointed with features where I am trying to connect my External hard drive and this High tech telly does not recognises the my NTFS system that my MAC is using, also does not play *.MKV files which is for 3D movies. I bought a home cinema system with a blue-ray player so I have got the sound ready, the screen as well it just does not play my movies from my hard drive. I am very disappointed with this product. As I never had a high tech telly which I was meant to buy I did not know what to watch out for when purchasing this TV, now I have got everything together and it is not working :((

Great TV at a super price
I narrowed the choice down to a 40/42" Sony, Panasonic, Samsung and LG, read lots of independent reviews. The Sony usually came top with LG second in the technical reviws, but £1200 compared to £700 made the LG the best value for money, and I have not been disappointed with my choice.
Compared to many TVs on the market the "frameless" design is superb, so it doesn't seem so big as other TVs with a similar sized screen.
It can take a while to set up the TV for best colours, there is a wizard that can be used.
The sound from the TV is adequate for many programmes, but I will get a soundbar or 5.1 system soon, it would be nice if there was an integrated unit that could fit on the stand.

Love it but........
Really think it's a brilliant machine, just a bit disappointed that I can't seen to download Flash to watch clips and "catchup" so this seems like a really big waste that isn't mentioned very much.
