Rated 5 out of 5 Best value for money for this type of tv on the ma
There are loads of tv on the market all claiming to be the best. But what sets the LG apart from all the rest is the energy saving capability, which in the current climate is a big plus

Rated 5 out of 5 by Encore Fantastic TV
This tv is simply fantastic, easy to set up and use, the picture quailty is second to none, that big 60in screen really does justice to the built in HD freeview receiver....the sound from the TV is also top noth...the slim design is a great and very modern.
There is one draw back, now i have this TV i am afraid any other TV will seem poor by comparision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rhygon Great TV for the price. Period
Firstly, my credentials: this is this second TV/plasma i have owned - within close proximity having returned the first one because it buzzed so bad (not an LG) - of which this is considerably better: picture-wise.
Great blacks generally, only images where black takes up the majority of the screen, will the black seem somewhat greyish - after all blacks on a plasma are all perception based anyway, no? I believe that the content being viewed can affect the illusion also, some content may seemed blacker than other content... other brighter content fantastic; HD looks amazing. No issues with SD.
Obviously no frills, or "Smart" features? Perfect for hooking up to a computer/media centre, of which any "Smartness" becomes obsolete(censored) anyway...
Gaming is awesome.
Oh yeh, does image retain substantially (with hooking up to the computer, I removed everything from the desktop and use a screensaver to be on the safe side; why not?). However, image retention these days, i am lead to believe, regarding screen burn, is incredibly hard to achieve; more so with recognised brands i am sure.
Also, screen is reflective so daytime watching requires curtains closing really, unless it is bright content. Though this provides crystal clear picture quality when there is no reflection e.g. dark room.
So for those who aren't so frivolous with money, a very decent Plasma.
