Excellence! I am entirely satisfied with this purchase, the quality of the product, it's features and the excellent job it does on my washing is highly commendable! I will certainly buy an LG washing machine, I already have a LG TV, in the future! 24 March 2015
Nice washing machine, I like the low noise level So had this about 4 weeks. Bought for a good price from a catalogue shop. Got it set up easy enough on my own as just a swap from the 7 year old another make machine. I read reviews and also LG own web site, reviews on shops web site product pages from here in UK. People seemed happy with it. Making less noise than other normal belt driven machines I thought I would buy. It moves the drum in different directions depending on the wash cycle. only used the same eco cotton so cant say how good this is but how many machines have a wriggly move both ways drum, good idea and works I guess. So usual things like the delay start timer, ( set to finish time in so many hours and it did to about 2 minutes accuracy, good for 9 hours delay ). so that's good. Green 4 digit display for time to run and this is good, nice to know how long you got to wait until finished. When it does it plays a loud monophonic tune of a good 10 seconds. Think mobile ringtone of 15 years ago. Loud and can hear in the lounge from kitchen. only 2 bed flat but nice and loud. Temperature and spin speed is also ok to control using their own buttons and orange LED for what setting. Extra rinse and drum cleaning feature I think. I like eco cotton at 40 degree setting. Now for the negative. If turning on it goes to cotton at 60 degrees when pressing power button and start (2 buttons is minimum to get going#. is cotton and 60 degree ok. I have to turn the big round wash cycle setting knob 1 notch to the left to get eco LED on. big round knob like all machines. Then temperature button a fair few times to go around the temperature settings to get to 40 on the LED above that button. So could be 2 buttons presses to a lot every time. why not but a user default setting by a combination of button presses for a set time or machine remembers last used program. we all don't want 60 degree at cotton. Too hot and takes to much water and time. If on correct eco setting I like then this uses less power and water than old machine. If water use friendly. I did my homework and the brushless direct drive motor uses less power, cheaper to run than others. Makes less noise. I like as tried to myself the LG self diagnostic feature. Press 2 buttons for so long a certain way when turned on and it beeps and makes noise like fax, analog modem, remember ZX spectrum from 80's loading. This gets understood by LG computer and call centre I guess to fault find. Apart from forcing a wash program that has to be changed everytime I think it is good machine. A good 9 cm thinner in depth then the old belt driven ac motor # more normal) system old machine. Goes in the thinner than normal space. 19 March 2015
Very quiet Had to replace a 20 year old Zanussi. Only had this for a week but so far very impressed by how quiet it is. Has lots of programmes which will never get used and the wash times have increased significantly over the years but that's modern technology for you. Would definitely recommend this machine. 12 March 2015
got this as a direct replacement for previous one got this as a direct replacement for previous machine which gave sterling service and wouldnt hesitate to recommend 10 March 2015
Installation Note: Industry-wide best practice is to install your washing appliance on a levelled solid concrete, tiled or non-suspended wooden floor to ensure minimum vibration and noise.
