Spin not great
Im a Previously aeg owner but persuaded to try LG this time. Pleased with drum size and easy to use but washing comes out v. Wet even on max spin cyle of 1400 rpm ( previous aeg machine was 1600 rpm). Wouldn't recommend this machine especially as expensive model, seems like paying for lots of extras but basics of clothes coming out clean and only half dry.

Not as quiet as expected but looks very sleek and does the job. Haven't used all the programs as yet but the steam wash seems to work ok.
I would recommend.

I bought this for my wife as she was struggling with keeping the wash basket from overflowing. It seems to have fixed that problem and also had a side benefit as it has saved her several trips up and down the stairs. Whilst the machine is working it is super quiet and does not wake me from my afternoon nap when on full spin. My next item is a steam iron thing that will help her zip through that task as well so she stops blocking the tv.A very good bit of kit that stops the moaning on the wash subject anyway.

This machine replaced a relatively expensive John Lewis washing machine. We can't fault the LG whatsoever. We have 2 small children and needless to say they produce lots of washing!
This machine came with a glowing endorsement from my mum so that alone should be enough to go on.
We cleared out the airing cupboard which meant tons of washing that needed refreshing. It handled piles of towels, pillows and 2 duvets with no issues at all.
Even on a 1400 spin, the machine is spookily quiet. In fact, our tumble drier drowns it out completely!
Yes, it's quite expensive, but you'll have a sense of 'getting what you've paid for' with this machine.
A child lock disables the control functions on the front panel which is handy with a 4 year old in the house (woollens on a 95 wash anyone?)
And......you can turn that beeping off if you so wish.......
