AVOID THESE WASHING MACHINES!!!! This machine looks nice but don't be fooled, This machine does not wash clothes properly. When I have tried to call LG I had an obnoxious person called Mark who has fobbed me off and keeps telling me that there is nothing wrong with the machine, I even asked for someone to come and look when the wash has finished to see what the clothes look like and was told they don't get people out to look. people stick with a zanussi they are so much better!!! 12 March 2014
good all rounder for a family who has lots of dirt quiet and reliable. Its early days but I am very satisfied with it. Good spin but clothes not like dishrags afterwards. Great range of programmes- still trying them out. Hope it lasts as long as my previous LG - 10+ years 11 March 2014
wife likes the way it sings to her. brilliant should of bought one ages ago, when it stars to spin it sounds like a plane taking,of but not quite so loud but its fantastic. 05 March 2014
Excellent machine Most reviews are on the sole seller site - Currys where one can only be added against a confirmed purchase. Mine replaced previously owned similar model WD-16331FDK. Lasted only 6 years before the bearing seal started squealing due to build up of washing substances. So it seems advisable to use the recommended tub clean + Calgon on this new machine say every month to hopefully avoid this problem. Noticed on this machine that the drum water jet during the washing cycle is annoyingly noisy - probably as it uses water agitation. The same water jet during rinse cycles is quiet. Be aware that the machine weighs 65kg - Currys will deliver right to where you want it then you are on your own to budge it into place. Usually one foot needs adjusting during the spin cycle to reduce vibration. On a plastic tiled concrete floor I managed to get zero vibration. Where excessively long wash cycles appear on the display, I found that pausing and selecting Time Save produced a satisfactory reduction. It seems logical to do this before the machine starts filling with water. 20 November 2013

Installation Note: Industry-wide best practice is to install your washing appliance on a levelled solid concrete, tiled or non-suspended wooden floor to ensure minimum vibration and noise.
