We work overnight so we used the a/c during the hottest part of the day and we still stayed cool. The remote is easy to work but we still didn't quite figure out how to use the timer. All in all, it was worth the investment.

I bought 8000 BTU Wall unit LG Air conditioner 2.5 yrs ago . Berings bouncing around when unit on ? How long do they last ? Only use 10 hours a day 5days a week . Great ,best quite a/c unit I've had , not happy though " only 2.5 yrs " of use ? Please ,

Trim does not fit

Trim is curved on the inside of the frame on all corners and does not match up to the bottom of the unit which has squared off corners. Tried forcing it on and it still will not fit. I need a solution or a part that fits

If the trim you have obtained does not work with the wall unit you have purchased, do not try to make it fit by force, that could damage the A/C. Look to your information that came with the unit for the correct trim, but if that does not tell you or you have lost the information, then go to LG website & look there for the correct trim that you should use or contact LG through online chat or by phone.

Why can't I place a window unit in a wall?

Wall A/Cs are specifically made to fit in walls, not windows, to try to convert them to a window A/C could damage the A/C & impede its cooling capability & cause other problems. To sum things up, A/Cs should be installed always for what they are built for.
