Hello JennyM. The LG 11,200/11,500 BTU Thru-The-Wall Air Conditioner, Model # LT1235CER is a Through-the-Wall unit and as such, like all other through-the-wall units, does not have side louvers like Window Air Conditioners do. This is why you can put the LT1235CER in a wall sleeve...^IFV
