Is there a cover for the unit?

This will be installed permanently in my window and I need an outside cover for the winter months.
Asked by: BrenW
We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner. Such a cover is recommended, if the unit is to remain in the window. However, the manufacturer does not have any covers available that we might specify.

Can Air Conditioner LW1012CR be installed in a double hung window?

I have a very small double hung window (max width 18") and was wondering if this unit could be installed in a double hung window as opposed to a casement. Thanks

What kind of installation kit does this come with for a casement window? Does it have an accordion style pull out to cover the open window?

A/C through the wall oceanside...

We are a condo bldg.oceanside. Because we have very wide glass doors, I believe that we only have enough space for casement units. I'd liked to install these through-the-wall to one side of our sliders. (I'd prefer a ventless system, but most of our owners can't afford that.) 1) Is this through the wall installation advisable for a casement unit? 2) Do you have a small one available specifically for oceanside applications?

Does this unit require a brace?

I'm concerned that because it's going in a sliding window that it will fall out... (it is 80 lbs!)

Is there a way to install this model (LW1012CR) in a window taller than 40"?

My room has a very large sliding window, 94"W x 46" high. Or do you have another model that would be more appropriate?
