When the red light for clean filter is on wat do i do

Asked by: Miasy
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this air conditioner and its features. The ‘Clean Filter’ LED will light up to notify you that your filter needs to be cleaned. After cleaning the filter, press “Temp ^” and “Temp v” buttons together to turn off ‘Clean Filter’ light. The filter reset must be done from unit control panel. The buttons on the remote control will not perform in this fashion.

How do i remove the front grille on this?

Asked by: Nikoroussos
We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner. The grille is installed by placing the upper tab in the appropriate groove on the top of the cabinet, and then snapping the bottom of the grille into place. As such, the removal of the grille should be performed bottom first. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

why when i set my timer it sometimes doesnt turn on the a/c?

i set it daily to turn on and it works some days, and somedays i come home to an oven it fails to turn itself on...
Asked by: Kado
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. Whether or not the unit is activated, in the TIMER mode, depends on its setting when the timer is set. If the TIMER is activated, while the air conditioner is running, then the unit has actually been set for a DEACTIVATE TIMER. If this does not appear to be the cause of your situation, then please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 that we might further troubleshoot the matter with you.

tiny red light directly above power button flashing what does that mean?

Asked by: jabiv
This is normal operation for this air conditioner. On some of the newer LG air conditioners, the power indicator will begin to flash when it is time for the filter to be cleaned. You can reset the indicator by unplugging the unit for approximately 3 minutes and then restoring power to the unit.

When the air conditioner turns on and off using the thermostat, does the fan run all the time? or does the fan turn off and on by the thermostat?

On some air conditioners when you switch them to thermostat mode so they automatically turn off and on based on the temperature in the room, the fan runs all the time and the thermostat only turns the compressor off and on. So does this air conditioner run that way? Or does it work where both the comperessor and the fan automatically turn on when it gets too hot, and both automatically turn off when the temperature cools down to the set temperature?
Asked by: Paige
After the A/C reaches the temp set with thermostat the compresser shuts off and the fan runs for a short time then shuts off. When the room starts to heat up again the fan and compresser turn on again.
