The unit automatically will switch from AC to Fan or Heat

This unit will go from AC to Fan or even AC to heat on it's own. The problem started about two days ago, the unit is a year old.

Answer:
I don't know about the heat part yet, but my unit has an environmental feature where when the set temp is reached the AC automatically goes to fan. It goes back and forth as the temp varies in the room

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. Is the setting actually changing from one option to another, or is it just the operation of the device? Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to troubleshoot this matter.

How do I move the unit forward relative to it's box?

Water is standing in the bottom of the coils/fins and is corroding them.
I need to pull the unit forward to examine that area and, perhaps, add additional drain holes to keep the air conditioner dry and non-corroding. How do I move the unit forward?
I look forward to your answer and many years with my LW1810HR.
Thanks in advance. Bob

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this air conditioner. This model is designed to where the chassis can be removed from the casing for cleaning and install/uninstall purposes. It may currently have some shipping screws along the bottom right and left corners. Remove these and slide the unit out as needed. Be certain to fully reinstall the chassis once your inspection is complete.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in the installation of this air conditioner. If a permanent, through-the-wall installation is necessary, then we would recommend the use of a Through-the-Wall Air Conditioning unit. The difference in the placement of the external circulation fan and cabinet vents make a Window Air Conditioner undesirable for such an installation.

Why does my AIR/HEAT unit blow, COLD air in heat mode?

My two year old, LG Air/Heat unit blows warm air for approximately three minutes and cold air for two to four minutes and repeats in Heat mode on the highest setting. This is very uncomfortable. How can it be corrected?

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. The unit should not have access to any cold air when it is operating in the HEAT mode, unless the FRESH AIR VENT is open, and it is cold outside. Check this feature, to ensure that it is closed. If it does not resolve the matter, then the air conditioner may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....
