Answer:
make sure the unit is level or at best make sure the back is lower than the front..water flows downhill, if the front is lower than the back, well like tilting a glass of water u see where the water will flow

Answer:
It's probably due to two things:

You didn't take out the drain plug - it's in one of the bottom corners of the outside of the unit.
or
You need to adjust the "tilt" to where the back of the unit is a few degrees lower than the front (the part that's inside). You can use thin pieces of wood, or what are called shims at the hardware store, to do this. I used a wooden ruler.

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. If water is running back into the room, it is typically caused by an improper installation. The air conditioner cabinet should be tilted outward in order to allow the water to flow to the outside of the cabinet. If this is not the case, the the unit may need to have its drain cleaned to allow proper drainage.

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. The temperature reading on the display is that toward which the device is attempting to reach. As such, it would be normal for the displayed temperature and the room temperature to be different, until such a time as the air conditioner reaches its objective.

Why is temp in room hotter than setting on air conditioner

You say it is normal because it is trying to reach the displayed temp.If this is so why does air conditioner shut off even though it is set for 78 but room temp is 80. Shouldn't it keep running until it reaches 78 in the room to match the power setting we input into it.

Answer:
no. the unit thermostat, as many thermostat will only measure the temp close to the unit thermostat..in other words the further u away from the ac built in thermostat, the warmer it gets. too cool a room down to say 78..u have to set it it 74 or so , so that the cold air can feel all the room, this may not be wise since air is always escaping from a room that not seal like a refrigerator

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. If the filter is clear, it is suggested to check the vents around the cabinet to ensure they are also clean. If this does not resolve the matter, then the device may require service. Answer:
Depending on the conditions in your area and home ie. dust in the air, pets etc. I would clean your filter as often as once a month. My wife marks the next day to clean ours on the calender as a reminder. The cleaner the filter, the more efficient the unit will run. To clean it I take it outside, and tap it on the inside of a trash can, then vacuum the face of the filter that is toward the room when it is installed. If it still seams dirty you have two choices, wash it running the water through it from the side that faces into the unit when installed toward the side that would face the room. Then let it set out until it completely dries before reinstalling it. Your second choice would be to use compressed air if you have it, blowing it through the filter the same direction as you would run the water through it, when washing it. The whole point being you do not want to wash or blow the dirt into the filter you want to blow or wash it out. Hope this helps. Todd

A little technology can go a long way, especially with a stylish remote that lets you cool rooms from afar, at the touch of a button. Couple that with 6,000 BTUs of power with 3 fan speeds that can cool up to 260 square feet, and you’ve got one seriously cool room.
