Knowing my experience with it was not typical of LG products, I turned to the 1-year parts and labor warranty process. I filed a repair request, was provided a case number, and was asked to submit my proof of purchase. I returned to the local Home Depot and they provided me a copy of my payment receipt. I scanned and submitted the receipt (some time after their request). I received a different case number. Now, in complying with their request today (this is after being contacted twice advising me there are no service centers in my area) I have again submitted a copy of my proof-of-purchase. They asked me to use the link they provided, and to include my name...geez, I wish they included a means of including my name via their link. Time will tell, and hopefully winter won't arrive before they resolve my non-functioning AC unit...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooling life When I bought this product, it was to replace one that went belly-up on me. I only hoped for it to be better then what I had. It surpassed that and then some. I was left with a very comforting room. Even with people coming in and out of the room the temp never went higher then what I set it for. In the future I will be telling everyone to buy this product. They can't go wrong!

hello does the lw6015er only blow cold air ? does it blow heat too?

Hi Alberi. Your interest in the LG Window Air Conditioner, Model # LW6015ER is appreciated. This Window Air Conditioner only cools, it does not have a heating function. Models that have the heating function will typically have "HR" at the end of the model number to indicate that they cool and heat...^IFV

Just started to beep sending error codes of f1 & f3. What does it mean? And how can I fix the situation?

We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner. According to our information, the F1 code is supposed to denote the LOW Fan Speed, white the F3 code is for the HIGH Fan Speed. This information is listed on page 16 of the owner’s manual. This should be normal operation.
