Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very quiet and unobtrusive The product was fairly easy to install and appears to be doing a good job. I am using it on the heat side now because its been too cool. It is quiet and warms my 10X13 office nicely. I like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working exactly as desired thus far.... The product was fairly easy to install and appears to be doing a good job. I DID have a item that came somewhat damaged out of the box, but a phone call to LG support solved the problem-they shipped me a new piece to replace it and despite the delay of a week, it all worked out nicely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good! The a/c portion of this unit is great cools the room quickly the energy saver feature does not always leave the area cooled enough but it is also useful. I have not had the opportunity to experience the heating aspect which is one of the main reasons I brought this unit but if it is as efficient as the cooling properties this will be a great unit to have for year around use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product This A/C is working very well for cooling. I haven't been able to try out the heat cycle yet because of the weather here in Florida. The only issue that I had with installation is that this unit is designed for a wood casement window, not aluminum window frames. I made it work with a little duct tape and caulking completing the seal around the curtains.

How to use energy save mode without the remote?

Asked by: Odell
We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner and its operations. It is recommended to check the control panel for a button marked ENERGY SAVER. This should be the second button from the left, on the bottom row. If this does not provide a control button, then the remote control will be the only option available.

How can I install DA screws(A) into the frame curtain?

Asked by: FlyTy
We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner. The TYPE A screws are designed to go through some holes in the vinyl portion of the frame curtain, and the threads will bite into the screw holes on the sides of the air conditioner cabinet. A diagram can be seen on page 13 of the owner’s manual.

Once in wall can unit be unscrew and slide out to clean and do maintenance to it ?

Asked by: Pmg remodel
The LG 7,000 BTU Heat/Cool Window Air Conditioner with Remote, Model # LW7013HR cannot be installed as a through-the-wall unit. The louvers on the cabinet of the unit cannot be obstructed or covered up in any way cause that would cause the unit to malfunction or burn itself out. When mounted in the window, you can remove it from the window to clean it after taking off some of the screws holding it securely in the window...^IFV

outside temp 30; heat feels cool

inside temp 50,about how long should this unit run to bring inside temp to say 60 well insulated area, vent closed
Asked by: newshop
We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner and its operations. This device uses an electric heating element that generates 3,850 BTU of heat. If the outdoor temperature is 30 degrees, then an indoor temperature of 50 degrees will likely be normal. This unit is designed to provide supplementary heat only.
