According to page 19 of the owner's manual, the levers are to adjust the direction of the air flow from the A/C when in use.

How turn off the light clean filter . Already clean the filter but the light still on .

Asked by: Raffic
After cleaning the filter, press “Temp ^” and “Temp v” buttons together to turn off ‘Clean Filter’ light. The filter reset must be done from unit control panel. The buttons on the remote control will not perform in this fashion.

I have the LG LW8012ER, how do you remove the front panel to give it proper cleaning? I couldn't find any information, not sure it does snap off. Thank you.

Asked by: HopeCheers
To remove the front panel you would do the following: 1) Pull the inlet grille forward. 2) Remove the screw securing the Front Grille. 3) Push the grille up from the bottom and pull the top of the grille away from the case as the top tabs lift out of their slots. Additional information can be found on pages 21 - 22 of the owner's manual.

How long does it take for this ac to start dripping water after it's turned on?

Asked by: Navi b
Hi Navi b. There is no way to determine how soon after the LG 8,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with remote, Model # LW8012ER will start to drip water after it is turned on. When the unit begins the cooling process, an intake fan in the unit draws the warm air from your room into the unit and passes it over the cold evaporator coils to cool the air and another fan blows the cooled air back into your room. When that warm air comes in contact with the cold evaporator coils, condensation forms on the coils and drips into the base pan in the bottom of the air conditioner. When the base pan gets full, the water drains out through the drain port in the back of the unit. How long that takes will depend on the relative humidity and how much moisture is in the air (i.e. Dew Point)...^IFV

Lost my directions, how do I set the timer?    Thanks much

Asked by: Hillybratt
We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner system. Each press of the TIMER button, on the control panel, will add an additional hour to the Timer Process. This button works in the same fashion as does that on the remote control.

My power button has stopped working is there a way to turn it on I don't have a remote for it

Asked by: Trish 77
I apologize, but no; if the power button does not work, and no remote control is available, then the air conditioner will require service to allow for operations. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

I've cleaned the filter. Red "clean filter" light still on.

Asked by: Libertyhenderson520
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this air conditioner. This red indicator light is typically related to the CLEAN FILTER alert. The ‘Clean Filter’ LED will light up to notify you that your filter needs to be cleaned. After cleaning the filter, press “Temp ^” and “Temp v” buttons together to turn off ‘Clean Filter’ light. The filter reset must be done from unit control panel. The buttons on the remote control will not perform in this fashion.

Why lg lw8012erj Water come from front ?

Asked by: Hanif vora
When water leaks from the front of the cabinet, usually this is caused by improper installation, tilting the cabinet too far forward. However, if this water is coming from the upper vents, then this could simply be due to high humidity in the room. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 for assistance with this matter.
