Answer:
yes it can. My total window is 36inwide by 50in tall. but the window slides up halfway so obviously 25in tall. And in the box it gives you the side expansion kit to fill up the side holes going to the outside. Mine didn't really fit the way they are suppose to about an inch to short on each side when fully extended, but I used good tape to latch it onto the window and made sure no hot air and bugs could get in. Hope this helps you. I use the unit for a 8x24 room and it cools it down in minutes.

Answer:
it is not recommended. they draw a lot and could overheat an extension cord. better to be safe.

Answer:
Generally speaking extension cords should not be used, but please verify if there are specialty cords that might be ok to use with the LG LiveChat Team at www.lg.com/us/support/message-customer-support

Answer:
This is normal operation for this air conditioner. On some of the newer LG air conditioners, the power indicator will begin to flash when it is time for the filter to be cleaned. You can reset the indicator by unplugging the unit for approximately 3 minutes and then restoring power to the unit.
