I have a WM1815CS and I installed the stacking kit a few years ago and need to remove it but no longer have the installation instructions. I have removed the back 2 screws but there seems to be a flange that goes between the front panel of he machine and the main body of the machine, that is holding the front of the bracket down and preventing me from removing the brackets. Are there screws that need to be removed to free the front of the bracket up ?

Answer:
If it was this kit you used, then a front bracket screws to the side brackets. The side brackets use double-sided tape to help secure to the front of the washer; only screws are in the back.

Answer:
The dryer feet slide into the stacking bracket and only a couple inches are needed to manuever the dryer for mounting.

Answer:
Apologies, please explain further... if you have 8" of clearance above the stacked washer + dryer, that should be fine - but I'm not sure if that's what you meant, or if you meant the clearance behind the units?

Yes, the stacking kit is compatible with the washer you've mentioned. Just be sure that the dryer you stack with it is compatible as well.

Just ordered an LG washer & pedestal from Best Buy. It has not been delivered yet. Does the pedestal come with everything needed to install the washer on top? Do I need to buy a separate kit?
