Answer:
I’ve latest firmware and here is the answer. You may not like it so. Yes, you can stream, but…
1. You will need DLNA player.
2. Very few formats are supported. For example I’ve a few mkv files and it cannot play any of them, but LG web site claims it can. It also cannot play DivX. At least in either case I didn’t find any one that it can play.
3. As another user answered, it cannot pause or rewind anything that it streams.
4. I’ve last year model LG BD670 and it can play and pause all files that I gave to it. It also can find and stream from shared drive – no DLNA is needed.
5. The minor advantage of BP620 is in playing VOB files. Everything else close to disaster in comparison to BD670, which is not perfect either.

Answer:
You can but you cannot Pause your movies. The player has a Great Picture and fast menus but I discovered I could not Pause any files except .mp4's.
My other player works just fine. LG has a glitch in their Firmware on these New units and only tell you that its your computer that is at Fault when the problem is the player.
So to answer your Question YES you can stream movies but enabling DLNA on y our PC does not work you have to install their unstable Nero Software. I suggest a Player that is specific to Media or a BD570 which works with DLNA or UPnP

Answer:
Just to make clear what LGJoel stated, this means that though this player does play with wireless-n; it will not communicate with your network if your network is set to 5ghz.

I found this out the hard way and it's pretty unfortunate for my home as we use the 5ghz band for our n-network. I had to buy another router just to get thing thing on my network.

Calling a product certified n but in the end it's only capable of communicating on the 2.5ghz spectrum is misleading. Users of n-networks use it for the faster speeds over g-networks; the faster speeds are only achievable in the 5ghz spectrum.

Answer:
The OPTICAL and HDMI audio signals are both digital audio signals. There is no setting available to limit the audio signal to only one audio output. It is therefore recommended, in this situation, to simply MUTE the TV if you choose to use the external speaker system.

Go to Settings and in General you will see a list like VUDO NETFLIX and some Others. When you highlight one of those and click the Center Key a dialog will ask you if you want to UN-Register.

just Say Yes then Netflix will ask you if your a Member next time you launch it

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this BluRay player. The NETWORK menu has a section specifically for Netflix content. This allows an option to DEACTIVATE NETFLIX. Once this has been done, you can set up Netflix with your new account.

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this player. All that should be required, for proper operation, is some audio/video connection from the player to the television, as well as the proper input selection on the TV to match. If this does not work already, then additional information would be needed in order to determine what might be causing the problem. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 for assistance in this matter.
