Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meet the king of the headsets The LG Tone Platinum, which is also known as the HBS-1100 is the best Bluetooth headset on the market. The moment you place this headset around your neck, you feel how comfortably it fits around your neck. After putting the headset around your neck, extend the earbuds by pulling on them very gently. The earbuds are attached to the headset via rather thin cords, so you must take extreme care when extending them. Next, place the earbuds in your ears, and turn the headset on. When you turn the power on, you hear the headset say "Power On" followed by the battery level. You hear either "Battery High" "Battery Medium" or "Battery Low." Next you pair the headset via Bluetooth. The headset says "Ready to pair" indicating it is in pairing mode. After you pair it to your device, you hear "Your headset paired." If you have previously paired it, you hear "Connected." The headset has three sound modes, Bass Boost, Tone Platinum and Treble Boost. The Bass Boost mode gives you mind blowing bass levels. Tone Platinum gives you balanced armature sound. Treble Boost boosts the highs. If you want the best headset on the market, the LG Tone Platinum is just that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money on these I had an older 700 model that I loved, recommended them to everyone I knew who wanted a great set of Bluetooth headphones. When they broke, I got these thinking that if I spent more and got the best headphones, I could find from LG they would be worlds better. What a disappointment. These are junk. They don't work with Skype on my android, I can hear people, but they can't hear me at all. They barely work for the phone itself. No one can hear me if I use them for VoIP on my PC either and none of the buttons seem to work. I can't change the EQ, can't mute can't adjust the volume. Just a complete waste of money. They do sound good though; I'll give them that. If I wanted just a pair of headphones and not a headset they might do the trick, but I could have saved a ton of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I had the very first generation for 3 years and it was very great despite the ugly design but I lost it. So i decided to go for the better one which is the HBS-1100 model. 1 month after the first year the left ear stopped working. I bought another one and the same happened after exactly 1 year. Looking for the price and value for money it's totally not worth it. it's 3 times more expensive than the first generation but the sound quality diffrence with the first generation is barely noticeable and the battery life is worse.

The retractable earbuds didn't always work and the sound quality shorted out after 7 months. I've returned them tho LG, as I have a 1year warranty. Hopefully, they will repair and/or replace.

How to restore sound to the left channel? The Platinum suddenly stopped playing sound in the left ear. I deleted and reinstalled it in the Bluetooth app which didn’t help. Thanks.

The LG TONE PLATINUM® Bluetooth® Wireless Stereo Headset, Model # HBS-1100, has a Vibration Alert Setting that is automatically set to On when you turn the power on. If you turn off the vibration alerts, it will not vibrate even when a call is being received or you are out of communication range...^IFV

Hello Viclam212, the limited warranty for the product extends for 12 Months, 1 year, beginning on the date of purchase of the product with valid proof of purchase. However, it does not cover physical damage which includes water damage. ^AC
