Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Alternative for Active Users I bought these for my wife as an alternate to the LG TONE Studio HBS-W120, which produced great sound but were just too big for her (they would almost slide off her neck when active). While the external speaker on the HBS-A100 don't provide as robust a sound, they still serve here well when listening to music or making hands free calls without earbuds. They provide a very snug and secure fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality build, needs work on audio Bought a pair in December 2016 but exchanged them after noticing people saying they couldn't hear me clearly on calls. Also noticed music chopped in and out when placing phone in my pocket or behind me. Called LG and got no help. NO firmware update available, just advises to exchange. It's a shame b/c I have used these headsets for years and will now begin researching another more reliable headset to use thanks to the lack of quality caring by LG.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Defective I just bought this product and have had it for two days and it seemed to work flawlessly, but then the left side went dead (with the outer speaker). At first I thought that maybe it was the application that I was using on my phone, so I switched it to the earbud, and low and behold, the sound came through. Within these last two days this has been happening between watching a movie and getting a phone call. One side just goes completely out. It corrects itself when I power it down and back on or if I switch the blue tooth off and back on my phone. Not this particular model, but I have had three other pair of Lg blue tooth headphones and I have always seemed to be experiencing a problem with them and the strangest thing is that it is always the left side.

Why if iwill call and using the external speaker only right speaker will on the other speaker not working during a call mode?

How can I get my headphones to read my text messages to me

The Tone & Talk application supports various functions including text and voice directions and calling. Go to the Google Play store and search for LG Tone & Talk or scan the QR code on page 9 of your User’s Guide to install this feature. Once installed, reading recent messages can be performed by pressing and holding the PREVIOUS (<<) button for 1 second.

I'm on my third pair of lg optimus headphones and my issue is the right headphone ALWAYS shorts out!

Why does the headphones continue to beep randomly even after being charged?

My multimedia play/pause button is no longer working. Since updating the talk/tone app the play pause button is not working. It will change the EQ with a double press. I really miss being able to hit pause on my music from the head piece. HBS A100

At random intervals during calls, the person on the other end either cannot hear me, or my voice is distant. This happens when my connected device is in my hand. How do I resolvery? This is the second A100 in a week with same issue
