Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sadly terrible Start with I love my Lg Tone Active. Switching to the Lg free I am beyond disappointed. No volume controls on the headset takes away anything that would make this hands-free. I don't want to have to pull out my phone to turn the volume up or down. Can not feel the headset itself vibrate because it is so long compared to the other headsets. Sound quality compared to the active I don't believe is as good either. I will just take the wires from the active bothering me before I use this wireless headset. Until I get the money up to buy a Bose. If I hadn't bought it off the internet I would already have returned it and have only wore it twice. There needs to just be a product wide recall on this junk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from With some adjustment great headphones. At first they sounded horrible. The ear gels they came with are far too small and I was not sure if the gels would help. I found some gels for a old cheap earbud set that fit and put them on these headphones. They were really large so they fit my large ear openings perfect and the sound was amazing then. The bass was fine mids and highs were perfect. The only issue then was when I put them in the headband to charge you had to really push them in and taking them out most of the time the gels would stay in the headband in the cavity. So I took my dremel tool and opened up the cavity all of the way back and made it a bit larger. Then they extra large gels fit fine and did not come off. LG should probably make this a bit larger for us people with large ear openings. I could see no danger in doing it myself however since it was just a battery and as long as I did not mess with the contacts or the clamps that hold the buds I could open it up as far as I wanted.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Callers cant hear me!!! The microphone is attached to the earpiece rather than the neckband and most of my callers complain that they cant hear me or i sound far away. As far as the sound when listening to music etc... its fine. The wireless detachable ear piece is not replaceable so since I lost 1 just days after opening the box, I can only use the left side, which controls the calls etc... so at least its still usable for the one ear, had it been the left earpiece I would have definitely been bothered sice its the primary ear pice and controls the calls, etc. I just use it to listen to shows and music. I preferred the infinim because the earpiece were impossible to lose since it is attached.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from worked well Overall i loved the LG Tone free, they fit well in ear and around the neck, I never worried they would fall out of the holder because of the tight click they had when putting them back, and the sound and battery time were great for me. up until about two to three weeks after use. I'm not sure but they stopped working for me this could be because of the seller i bought them through and i still need to have them repaired but when the time comes I'm sure to let others know about them again.

Do you have to wear the neck band to make phone calls

You do not have to wear the neck band to make phone calls or listen to music. The neck band does have to be within 3 meters during operation however. ^CP

Is it possible to have both ear buds playing sound for a phone call?  I have only been able to do that for music.

My on and off switch doesnt shut off headset so thought it turned on right ear bud to work but stiil right ear bud doesnt work with music
