Rated 3 out of 5 by On second pair in 5 weeks.... I purchased my first pair at Target and only used 4 times. On my fourth use the headset started vibrating and would not quit! I tried shutting it off, plugging in the charger, turning the volume up and down - nothing worked! I finally gave up and returned them to the store 3 hours later (still vibrating!) I liked the style of the headset, but the controls were a bit awkward. I mainly used these to walk/jog on the treadmill 3 times and listen to music once. Quite sad that these failed so quickly, but I was impressed with the battery life, even though I was still on my first charge when they failed. August 3, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 Do not buy! Had the first pair about a day. Wore them during my cycling workout and within 45 minutes the notification buzzer came on and stayed on until the battery ran out. I tried turning it off and turning it back on, unsyncing from my phone, plugging it in and unplugging it but nothing worked. You have to hide it somewhere in your house so you won't hear the constant buzzing and wait for the battery to run out. I returned it to the store thinking it was a fluke deal and got a second pair. Within 30 minutes it did the SAME THING! Total garbage -- don't waste your money. August 3, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 Totally unworthy of the 1 star I am FORCED to give I bought this headset from Sam's Club on 7/7/15 for running, which is one of the ways it was advertised. I used them only 4 times and on 7/17/15, during a run they went completely dead. Would not charge or connect with my Bluetooth. Sam's Club was great and refunded me my money. But while I was waiting for them to process my refund the associate went off to the side with another employee and said "this is second return on these in two days." I feel sorry for them at Sam's because they have a huge display of them. This item is just so poorly made. July 25, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 My fourth pair... This is my fourth pair of LG headphones. All have broken for different reasons but these particular headphones gave me the most trouble. First, I had problems pairing it to my tablet. I haven't had this headset a full two weeks yet and it was powering off and on during calls so I returned it to the store for another pair. Doesn't seem to happen when I turn off the wi-fi function, but that shouldn't matter. Is this a defect in the product? I've noticed other people complaining about this as well. This is my second pair and it has happened on both pairs!

Answer: 
Root Cause: This is an issue with the product.
When your smartphone detects WiFi changes it somehow mutes the headset. There is no indicator that it is on mute. This is a defect with the product and or drivers for smartphones.

Interim Resolution: If you plan on being mobile and will be on a call, turn off the WiFi. This way, while driving or walking around if new WiFi signals are seen and/or lost your phone will not mute the headset.
If you forgot to turn off your WiFi on your mobile and this happens to you, turn off bluetooth on the phone and turn it back on, the headset should automatically reconnect. Yes, this is a major inconvenience, but unfortunately this also seems be the best headset yet (in my opinion) for the price.

Proper Resolution: LG creates a firmware update for this headset. This is not likely as this has been an issue since day one. Also, several other models are affected in the same way. Feel free to search for this issue and you'll see you are very much not alone on this issue.

I had the lghbs730 for more than a year and it worked perfectly. Recently the ear bud separated from the unit and I had to replace it. I have returned the 750 twice already due to the mic issue and I still have the issue. Very frustrating as the original product was awesome.

I keep reading that people say you should disconnect your wifi. I have had the HBS730 for over a year and did not have this problem. It only just started about 2 months ago. I have never had to turn my wifi off. It looks like someone that works for LG said that it could be incompatible with the phone or you are out of range. Neither is true in my case. I have to keep the phone within a foot of me because I have to keep touching "headset" twice on the active call. Once to disconnect it, then again to connect it. I have had my phone since March it and like I said the problem just started. Some people say it is the network you are on. I don't believe it is that either. I wish LG had an answer.

This is my second pair. My company just bought 30 sets with all kinds of different phones being used. So when the phone disconnects from WiFi if mutes you. You have to connect and reconnect from the phone but its a pain when your on conference calls. This is the reason I helped campaign for these cause they use to work great but for the past few months they or way below par cause of it. That and I can not get them to work with my laptops anymore either. Can't believe I have basically been talking these up for over a year and now this stuff happens. Typical LG products

For some it does not work when you are connected to wifi I had the same issue. So turn your wifi off ,this is something they need to fix.

This could be an incompatibility with the Bluetooth of the mobile phone, or it could be a situation due to the range of the phone to the device. Siri generally works just fine via this headset (I too have iPhone 5S). Use the various commands Siri recognizes. For example, "Read text message aloud" had Siri reading my most recently received text out loud and offering to reply via text to speech, all through the headset.

Is there a fix for these being too loud when used with an iphone?

I purchased and loved the HBS700. Since I use them every day, I eventually decided to upgrade to the HBS750. Unlike the previous model, the volume adjustment does not go low enough. It's loud enough that I fear it will damage my hearing. To reiterate, this was not an issue with the older model. I noticed it actually changes the volume on the phone rather than adjusting the volume independently. Therefore I can't turn the phone halfway down, then make small adjustments with the headset.

I have the same problem. When you use the volume rocker on the headset, it actually moves the iPhones volume three levels per each press. So at the low end of the volume setting, you start from completely muted, then with one press, you get volume level three! Which is way too loud! I was hoping there was some software to adjust the headset, but I see none.

I have an older Galaxy Player that works nice. Both volumes work independently of each other. I wonder if there is some obscure setting in the iPhone that would turn off this remote volume control "feature".

Sadly, it make a very nice headset unusable.

When paired with my Windows 8 computer, the sound skips when playing movies. It also skips when paired (separately) with my Galaxy S5, interrupting workouts. I have removed the device and re-paired, I have rebooted my computer (and my phone) and repaired. Short of taking this back to the store, what else can I do?

I'm also finding I have to re-pair this every time I want to use it on my laptop. I did not have this issue with a previous competitor's product. It simply connected.

Shale - in answer, no.

If I connect to my laptop and watch my show ort movie or video, it's fine. If I stop watching, walk away to make a sandwich or whatever, when I return, it skips. Then, I have to go into Playback devices (under Sound on the tray) disconnect it and reconnect it.

It's a pain in the butt, and I wish someone from LG would answer with a fix or a workaround until it is fixed.

I have the same problem. Did anyone responded to your question? I just bought mine. I did love using it until i decided to use it with my windows 8. I need to pair it all the time. Then if i am watching a show like hulu, i need to turn it off and on after each commercial.
