This Drive is a great dvd /cd writer for the needs of anyone who needs a drive for a new laptop/tablet cross over that does not come with a drive built in. I have had no issues with the drive and the windows 8 software has no issues with the drive and the software also makes drivers a mute issue as the widows software has the drivers you need I give this driver a two thumbs up a great buy!

Just installed the GP60NB50 and I get "Disc not supported" and "Does not support OS, just Windows applications installed on Macs" So I can't get it to install the SW disc that came with it.  Which is: CyberLink Media Suite 10 for DVD  SAC35575236

Will this drive burn dual layer DVD's? I haven't had any success with this even trying different brand media. All other disc format's work great so far.

My Mac compatible Slim Portable DVD writer (GP60NS50) was shipped with a Super Multi Drive Install disc for Windows, but no install disc for Mac.  Please help me obtain the proper installation disc.  Thank you.

Regrettably, without more detail, we cannot determine why the LG Super Multi Portable 8X DVD Rewriter with M-DISC™ Support, Model # GP60NS50. The device came with a software installation disc, make sure that you installed that software into your computer. Check to make sure that the unit is turning on, not all computers supply enough power via the USB port. Microsoft released the USB 2.0 EHCI driver software for Windows XP, which is why it was possible to use this driver software with Windows XP SP3. Under Windows 8 operating system, a specific mainboard with nVidia GeForce 7025 Chipset may cause an abnormal operation, so you may want to check your owners manual or contact your computer's manufacturer about these details...^IFV
