Rated 4 out of 5 by JayKay Mutes when I on a Call
I have owned several LG Headsets before and loved them. This one doesn't work as well as the others. The isn't better than the HB 700 version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MaRcos Exactly what I needed
I work in a business casual attire environment and I love the fact that I can hide under my dress shirt and still be able to be pull the ear bud out to answer calls and tuck it back in when not needed.

- Good sound for music, podcasts and phone calls
- Bluetooth connection works well
- The maximum volume is too low for noisy situations like mowing the lawn.
- The magnetic holders for the earbuds are awful. They are on the underside of the headphones and constantly fall out.
- The Ambient Noise Cancellation (ANC) is non-existent.
- The body contoured fit is uncomfortable compared to the HBS 700 model.
- The on/off switch is poorly placed on the inside of the headset next to the neck.
- Side control switches are too flush to the body to feel easily.
- Its too expensive compared to previous models.
- Battery life is much lower than in previous models.
- It seems like a victory of design form over function.
My previous headset, the LG HBS 700, served me well for two years with heavy use. I thought this model would be even better but if I had it to do over again I would buy the LG HBS 700 or LG HBS 730 instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EdVanHalen Great Headset
I have an HTC DNA (Thank GOD I don't have an IPHONE), and this headset married right up to my phone, didn't squelch any of my notifications, and works like a charm. I highly recommend this head set to folks who have Android phones. It's an awesome headset.

Poor design. Earbuds will not stay in magnetic holders (a simple retractable cord design would have solved that). Also buyer beware: iPhone OS users will NOT be able to get text/SMS message alerts on phone - message alerts (beeps, sounds) will route to the EARBUDS, meaning you will have to have ear buds IN YOUR EAR to hear alerts (meaning.....unless you are constantly looking at your phone OR have earbuds in ear, you will NOT be aware of incoming texts). That alone is a MAJOR flaw... Music sound quality is truly premium and equiavalent to my best bluetooth stereo headsets.

I drive truck for a living and on the phone quite a bit to run my business and love the sound quality, how light it is, easy to use. Great for a bluetooth and a headset to listen to music.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Datenshi LG Tone Ultra
I had the Tone 730 and it was great for the iphone. When i got an android, not so much. So i upgraded to the Ultra and it now works with the android. However, the battery life has dramatically gone down. Won't even last 9 hours now where it used to last almost two days.
The sound and functionality of it are amazing. The bluetooth capability with the phone works amazingly well along with the ease of listening to music or books. A must for all active peoople. But i would get the 730 over this if you have an iphone.

This unit works alright for the most part, but I have frequent loss of connection with my iPhone 5. It will drop out in the middle of a call, and if your caller doesn't hang up on you, it will drop out again after it reconnects. I have had up to three loss of connections in the same phone call, before the other party just hangs up. Also, the little magnets that retain the ear buds when not in your ear, well, they don't retain them hardly at all. The slightest movement and they fall out and hang by the wire which can't be good for them in the long run. I think they need to do a little more development.
