I tend to buy a new cellphone about once a year. I had my Banter for about 2 years when I decided to get an Android and give my old Banter to someone . Quickly decided I like my old Banter much much better but couldn't find another one for sale. I went to the LG Saber. While I do like this phone, I really miss the slide-out Qwerty keyboard. If you want a phone and don't want/need internet access, Banter is absolutely great. It only needed charging about every 2 weeks, has a micro sd slot so transferring pictures/songs for ringtones is a snap.

Love this Phone
I love this phone. Granted, it's not a smart phone (which I don't need), but it undoubtedly exceeds my expectations in a phone.
Prior to purchasing this phone, I have had at least 7 other phones and none lasted more than a year. This phone has lasted me almost three years. It is quick to respond, it works everywhere. I've dropped it, smashed it in car doors, left it in -30* weather for a week, put it through the dryer, etc. It's been through the ringer, and the only indication that it's so well-used is a slight scuff (SCUFF - NOT scratch) on the BACK of the phone itself.
The camera takes pretty good photos. They are able to be printed at 4x6 or 5x7 without too much grain or distortion. It has a basic web browser, as was available back when I first got this phone. It comes with somewhat horrible ring-tones, but you can add your own.
I've dropped a call only once. There's no static issue. Everything is crystal-clear. I love the QWERTY keyboard, though I don't use it much.
My concern is that after this many years, my battery is now starting to dwindle. It's down to where I can charge it all night, and it'll be able to handle ten text messages and a two minute call before it powers down. If I wait between the texts and the calls, it'll go back to being "full." I need a new battery, stat. According to the web, it has to be an LG battery - but I can't find these ANYWHERE.
I just want to keep this wonderful phone!

At first I loved I loved this phone, but then i started having problems after 6 months. I had to get a replacement, then I got another one after 6 months then another one within a week. Now I have to get another one less then a week. I'm not happy at all. The screen kept on flashing so it was unusable and would have to take out the battery to turn it off. But this time it was my fault, I actually damaged it, but I would not recommend it unless i really disliked the person.
