A good little phone...
Date:July 2, 2009
Best Features: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use
"I've only had this phone for a few days, but I looked for a Windows Mobile based phone for a LONG time before purchasing and have done a lot of research.
If you like Windows Mobile (which I do!), this is the most affordable option out there, but it's also a pretty good phone! I found that it synced effortlessly with my Vista PC, integrated my contacts with the dialing features automatically, had a huge storage capacity with the micro SD card in, as much as any of the iPhones out there, though I haven't used these high capacity SD cards for very long and am not sure how something smaller than my fingernail will stand up to hard use.
I found the features intuitive and easy to find, though I am very familiar with WM. It has all the bells and whistles plus some, and has enough menu customization options that anyone should be able to tailor it to their needs.
The thing that makes this phone VASTLY superior to the iPhones out there is that this phone can actually function as a useful device even when you haven't got cell coverage. Where I work, you don't have any, from any provider, but I can still use my Incite as a document manager, GPS (with a bluetooth reciever), data collector, calendar, note taker, for games, etc. - anything I can load on it. It's a phone that doesn't assume you will ALWAYS have coverage - and I like that!
The only real drawbacks I found were the fact that this phone is locked to AT&T, which has lousy service out here in the boonies of PA. It also has a strange setup for the WiFi / internet. If you want to use the browser on wifi sites like your local coffee shop, you don't need proxies, but if you are trying to access the internet through AT&T's cell signal, you do. I found the need to switch this back and forth sort of clumsy, but more an issue of the service provider than the phone.
All in all, a good phone with excellent features that I wish had the service (around here) that it deserves."

I love this phone,
Date:June 27, 2009
Best Features: Quality, Features/Settings, Performance, Style/Design
Cons: Difficult to use
"I know that a lot of people have not been to happy wiht this phone. It takes a little time to learn how to use, but the overall outcome is worth the time. I have only had my phone a couple of days, and I thank it is great. The things it will do are so much like a PC, and that is what I was looking for in a phone.
If you like your PC then you will like this phone. I looked at the blackberrys and other phones before I got this one.
While I was waiting for it to come I was worried that I made the wrong chose but two days latter,, I'm happy, very happy.
If you go to att.com/wirelesstutorials it will help you to get the most out of your phone, and speed up the learning crave.
Love my new amart phone.

Pathetic, dont waste your money
Date:June 17, 2009
Cons: Value, Features/Settings, Difficult to use
"Where to start? I have had my Incite for 5 months and it is completely the worst phone produced.
The texting interface is worthless. You can barely see what your typing much less the text your replying to. The function key to get to numbers and punctuation is rediculous. If you end a sentence in a function key, such as a question mark. It carries over to your next messsage so when you start typing your next message its all in characters. You have to hit an arrow key in order to see what your typing and hit it again to send the message. Sometimes the keys dont work (only the spacebar) in order to fix it you have have to lock the phone and then unlock it.
The phone is pretty slow, that is if you can get it to work at all. I reboot my phone twice to three times a day. I found out however if you clear your messages it works faster. The problem is you have to clear your messages every day.
Its a pretty phone but if you want to see who is calling you or what someone just text you in the middle of a sunny day, good luck. The glare is tremendous. When someone is calling you a tab comes up with a small profile, which is nice. Half the time the tab doesn't pop all the way up and all you see is "incoming call"
If you want to move pictures or anything from one folder to another you have to copy them, paste them then go back and delete them. The cut function is just for show, I guess. The enternal memory is lacking as well.
There is no back button. Which makes navigating the folders difficult.
Your 3MP camera is horrible in realitively low light. It picks up on reds too much. Its great when your taking a picture in the middle of a sunny day. Except for the glare on your screen prevents you to see what your taking a picture of or how it turned out.
This is by far the worst phone I have ever owned. Mind you, I've owned a Treo. There really isn't anything good I can say about this phone. It has some good features but none more than any other phone.
