Rated 5 out of 5 by ct Fast and built quality.
Using my Nexus 5 for about 2 months and it is awesome. Top notch hardware and a great comprehensive Google environment experience. An incredible value for an unlocked phone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Joe1964 One major problem GLASS is broken after 2 weeks.
Hello I don't recommend this cell phone for a big reason the glass has a defect, my screen cracked in one spot hairline fracture on the left side going to the ear pice. I am the most careful person with my phone and still this happened. The phone has never left its otter box like case either. Before this phone I had a nexus 4 for over a year just sold it never had any problems with it at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 Bang for your Buck!
Very impressed with nexus 5 looks great, feels great, runs great. Love how smooth and fast it runs and the fact that there is no bloatware! Only negative, its not the best battery life but still should last almost a full day. But for this price you can't complain!

Rated 3 out of 5 by atony323 OK phone if you don't need a great camera
In my opinion - Kit Kat does not make up for some of the headaches I have with this phone....
Bluetooth for example - I loose my connection with the phone every once in awhile, too many times a day and right in the middle of a conversation while driving is VERY frustrating. That in itself makes me want to give the phone back to T-Mobile, AND I'm using an LG stereo Bluetooth headset, you'd think it would go hand in hand but it doesn't.
Google update for this phone completely changed the CAMERA features. You no longer have settings for "Resolution", "Aspect Ratio" and "Video Quality"...
*Current Camera resolution for the new Google camera on this phone is set at, does not display and no settings.
*Aspect Ratio is set at 4:3 - NO longer do you have the option for 16:9
*Video Quality - ? Doesn't display what the quality will be - my guess is HD but does not a display for this.
*Although NOW there is Photo Sphere with the new Google camera software but who really uses that?
Voice Commands: Horrible.. An example would be "Call John Doe on mobile" it will do one of several things...
1. bring up all the Johns and ask you which John would you like me to call. Then you tell it and it will answer - "Which number would you like me to dial say "select 1. for mobile, select 2. for Home, or select 3. for work.
You HAVE to say SELECT 1. then it will respond by saying Select 1 for mobile say OK or Cancel. You HAVE to say OK when prompted. In my opinion - WAY too many steps just to make a phone call while your driving and half the time is does not even get to the third step and responds by "can't understand selection" then you have to start all over - I'm half way to pick up John by the time I'm done. The old Google voice commands worked SO MUCH better than this! This is horrible! I've downloaded some apps to handle both the Camera and voice commands but you have to have those apps running in the background and don't work OVER Google software so you stuck using Google voice commands - if you know of one - PLEASE tell me!
I got the 16GB, I work in the health field and have a huge patient database that I use with a patient database app - IT IS NOT enough memory to handle all that including photos, videos, etc... Your better of getting the 32GB but T-Mobile does not carry the 32GB.
Phone is simple, easy to use, VERY FAST, no other software over the Google IOS Android Platform... So, if you can get passed the mediocre camera and don't need voice commands to make calls then you will enjoy having this phone, but if you want a better camera and do a lot of driving and need to place calls over your Bluetooth device - I would get another phone that can handle those things if they are that important to you.

Rated 5 out of 5 awesome
The Nexus 5 is the best kept secret in the Android line. Full of performance with no added bloatware. If you want a no frills high quality phone this is it. CyanogenMod 11 ROM runs perfect on this device.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ddeisla LCD Screen shatters. Expensive repair. No cases
I was very happy with my Nexus 4, the features were enough for me, I check videos, listen to music and send emails etc. I droped probably 10 times and the screen never shatered on me so basically I was very happy with my nexus 4 this is why i made an upgrade to the 5.
The very first week I was so happy, the phone performs amazingly fast... until I accidentally droped it in concrete about 2 feet height and the LCD screen completely shatered! I was trying to repair it but found out its 170dlls to repair (its a 300dll phone!!!) , Also, theres almost NO CASES AVAILABLE for this phone! and probably won't be because the screen shatters like its nothing.
Word of advise... don't buy this, stay with your nexus 4 unless you are super careful not to drop the phone EVER, even with a case.
