Rumour has it!

"I've been using cell phones for about 20 years now and have had a large variety of phones over the years. I also spent 6 years of my career working at one of Canada's major cell service providers.
I love this phone! I've had it almost 2 years now.
The slide out keyboard is a superior advancement, especially as it's in QWERTY format rather than alphabetical as my last phone was. It's texting made simple.
The phone takes good pictures and by using the little memory card I purchased, I'm able to carry music or take an abundance of pictures and easily email them or download to my comptuer. This was pretty handy when I had a car accident as I was able to photograph the vehicle 'in situ' before it was moved.
I find the phone itself to be pretty rugged as I've dropped it a few times and it's still alive.
While I have had it freeze up on occasion when I'm surfing the internet, it's not usually a problem.
I would recommend this phone to anyone that's looking for a basic phone with a few features thrown in. It's not an i-phone, so if that's the kind of functionality you're looking for, this phone won't satisfy you."

Not Bad

"I have owned this cell phone for about 6 months and I am now finding that the battery is not staying charged as long. I do not need the phone to do anything special. I only use it for occational calls and texting. I find it is easy to use and alot easier to text with the slide out keyboard. The receiver volumn is really good and it works well with bluetooth."

LG260
Date:July 21, 2010
"When my last phone started having problems and it was time for a new phone, I picked the LG260 because it had a nice colored screen which I thought would be easier to see than my previous phone. I don't text so don't need or use the keypad. I got a body glove for it because I constantly wear my cell phone on a belt clip because of my job. This phone has been awful! On belt clip it keeps sliding open, lays sideways rather than up and down, and the only belt clip available pops off if you bend over or twist with it and then the phone falls on the ground. The screen is not easy to read because the icons and print are so small -- color and contract don't help with these microscopic things! I only have glasses for reading, so don't usually have them on when I'm using my phone. To use the contact list, I have to go get my glasses to see the small print, so can't use that feature -- it is faster to type in the number than go get my glasses. I"ve had this phone a year and am so frustrated with it. My husband just got a Blackberry -- I can read the screen without my glasses, even adjust the font size, has a nice belt holster that doesn't have the problems this LG has."
