Another LG winner!
I've had this phone for two weeks now, and love it with few complaints. I had a UX5000 for three years and hated to part with it but nothing lasts forever. I got a UX280 Wine initially but was never happy with it due to the awkward-for-me design and poor call quality. The Helix has razor sharp call clarity with no overmodulating even at full volume. It retains the quality fit and feel I've come to expect from LG products. User interface is a no-brainer as always, and submenus are well thought out and straightforward. Being older, I'm not thrilled that I can't change the text background (the white lettering on light blue background can be a challenge to see), but that's what glasses are for. I didn't think I was going to like the shared digit button configuration for texting but it has proved to be a non-issue. Battery life is smoking...I've only charged it twice. I was always impressed that my 5000 could catch a signal when others around me had to run outside but this phone actually exceeds my old one for signal strength. The camera works as well as a phone camera should...if I want studio quality pics I have a digital camera. The Helix has no audio capability...big deal, I have several mp3 players. If I need to get on the 'Net I have three computers. What I needed was a solidly built, well-designed phone that will work when I need it to (and I need it to a lot), and that's what the Helix is. I fully expect to get two or three years out of this phone as well, assuming I don't get any blinder.

This is a very good phone. After a bad experience with my previous phone, I was reluctant to try a new phone. However, I'm so glad I did. This phone is easy to use and I LOVE the picture quality. I recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their phone.
