Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Virtually indestructable!! I have actually had this type of phone since 2008. I bought a replacement in 2009 just because I could. I actually have what I think is the original Rumor. All that being said. I absolutly love this phone! I originally got it for the qwerty keyboard and blue-tooth capabilities. Love love love how easy it is too use. Since getting this phone in 2009 I have dropped it in 4 toilets, 2 rivers, a bathtub and it was soaked back in May by Shamu at Sea World. IT STILL WORKS!!! I immediatly shut the phone off, opened the slider and also removed the battery then placed in a bag of rice for 48 - 72 hours. Put it back together and all is good. It has also been dropped an inumerable number of times and the worst that has happened is the back comes off that battery comes out. I am looking to upgrade to a smartphone through verizon. I will ONLY buy LG from now on!! This is truly the best out there!! As for battery life, I talk about an hour a day sometimes 3 and text pretty much all day and I only have to charge about every 4-5 days. I only had problems with the battery life when I visit my parents in Canada and I get too far from an American tower. Then I just power down until I am ready to leave and all is good! July 26, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by DON'T USE THE NOTEPAD TOOL A decent enough cheaper qwerty keypad phone. However, if you don't want to kill the phone, do not use the notepad tool feature. There is a glitch (known since at least Sept. 2010, based on forum comments, other reviews, etc.) that will kill the phone. If notepad is accessed the phone freezes up. After pulling the battery, as one does if a phone freezes, and reinstalling it the phone will not power on fully. It will just keep flashing "hello" and nothing else. There is no fix. Did not discover this issue until after it happened and did some research. Fortunately the phone was still under warranty (only had it for 6 months) and it was replaced. Best to avoid the issue altogether and DON'T USE THE NOTEPAD TOOL. December 8, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Phone Overall its a good phone that's easy to use and its applications run reasonably fast my only major complaint is that sometimes the camera wont turn on for some reason July 19, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great assistant I thought phones were supposed to be just phones, but this phone has the icing on the cake, it actually is the whole cake! It slides for ease of writing messages, it has sound and camera features that are unsurpassed, and it generally works better than any phone I have ever had. April 14, 2010

Rumors aren't hard to spread, especially with the stylish new Rumor2. Its 4-line QWERTY keyboard and Bluetooth® capabilities allows a shorter response time when sending and receiving the latest gossip. It also eliminates the "I don't believe it." statement of denial with proof from the 1.3 megapixel camera.
