Rated 4 out of 5 by Best you can get without going full smartphone I have this phone through Verizon. It was the best "feature phone" (not smart phone) that they offered two or more years ago. I have big hands and fingers and originally had a problem of the phone slipping out of my hands like a wet bar of soap when trying to slide open the keyboard, but I have since mastered it. I absolutely love how small this phone is. It fits in any pocket and I can even close my hands entirely around it. It's a few years old now but I still only need to charge it twice a week, even with heavy texting. I have the common issue with this phone where you type something and some of the letters get duplicated, so you will end up with words like "see you lattttter" by complete accident. The center of the touch screen has also started to fail and requires extra effort to push, but most of the phone's functions can be accomplished with the keyboard so it's not a big deal. Bottom line: if you want apps and internet access, get a smartphone. If you don't care for those things or are in a strict budget, get the Extravert. October 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice design, needs more customization I've had this phone for two years now, and I've got to say it's the best phone I've gotten so far, even though it's not saying much. The touchscreen works pretty well, and it took very little to get used to. My friends can't use it well, though, since the screen is pressure-sensitive instead of heat-sensitive. The keyboard is a bit small, so unless you have pretty small fingers, you're going to occasionally jumble many characters in one word. I don't know if this was just my phone or a defect, but pressing keys will often put multiple of the same character one after another. This will make words like "potttato." This phone, though basic, offers "Apps" that are not only overpriced, but not the best quality. The music player often lags behind on music, so it pauses and loads the music. This isn't too much of a problem, but it does happen many times during a song. I wish the operating system offered a bit more customization, since it only offers two themes. It also gives three fonts to choose from, but they look like slight variations of Arial and Times New Roman. Fortunately, the lock screen and home screens can each hold a different photo and there are even different gestures that can unlock the phone. I would only recommend this phone to someone not after all the bells and whistles of smartphones, but still might like a touchscreen or a slideout keyboard. This is probably not for people looking for smartphones or those who like those older flip-phones. Overall, while it needs a bit more options in customization, it's not horrendous to use. Rated 2 out of 5 by Problems with Phone I wasn't able to delete draft text messages. I would select erase all and nothing would happen. Had my phone for less than two months and the screen froze. I wasn't able to power it back on or off. I would only see the LG logo on the screen. July 7, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty average phone for basic phones everything is average with this phone. it is built good, but the slider has a tendancy to get annoying, i have large hands and it seemed to slip out of my hands quit frequently June 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Unreliable and poorly designed. Phone drops calls constantly. The touch screen software does not work properly: almost impossible to scroll the list. It picks first touch as the selection and changes screen. Reception is very poor even with a full bar service. April 21, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Pretty Good then breaks Works well then after a while of using constantly the screen gets glitchy then breaks and it becomes even more frustrating to use. At least make it tougher February 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Its okay for a Budget phone I've had mine for about 2 years, it was great the first year and then the problems started. It would randomly power itself off even after being on charge the night before. The screen has its own problems, touch the send button or replying to a text and it often wouldn't work requiring 7 or more tries to get it to respond. When I would make notes on the notepad I would hit save and come back to that note later and a whole bunch of characters that made no sense would appear. Exam, "get milk & doritos" the phone would put in behind that "get gt gt mk drots os os os eh ". The battery life was great until about 3 months ago, now it only last for about 12hrs and this isnt a smart with a bunch of Apps running on it. January 18, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst phone i've ever owned With it's often completely unresponsive touch screen and slow, cumbersome interface, every time i use this phone, i can't help but think the designer shouldn't have bothered. Using even the most basic functions is an exercise in frustration. Attempting to press one touch-screen button often means inadvertently pressing the one next to it (i.e. hitting "Send Message" ends up placing a call, etc). To try and prevent this, i've started using the end of a pen, and even that only works some of the time. Of course, there's nothing abnormally wrong about the phone itself—it's just poorly designed. The only reason i have it is because it was the only phone offered by Verizon with a qwerty keypad (incidentally the only thing about the phone that works consistently), that didn't require a data plan, and my earlier LG Cosmos (which worked great) had broken.
