Good phone
Date:October 4, 2011
Best Features: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
"I have been pleased with the Ally. The main complaints that I had (battery life and email issues) were solved with the Android 2.2 upgrade. The only other complaint is that the on board memory is inadequate. Not enough apps are written to be able to be stored on the SD card. I get error messages that the phone is low on storage space. The screen is sharp and easy to read. The camera takes decent if not great photos. I love the keyboard. I think that this phone has the best keyboard of any Android phone I have tried."

Avoid if possible
Date:October 3, 2011
"I owned this phone for a little over a year and a half and purchased it mainly because it was less expensive than a motorola droid and iPhones were not available through Verizon at that point. At first I liked the phone although the batter life was less than desirable but after a month or so it slightly improved. I like the full keyboard but it was very easy to hit the back button while texting which would then claim to save your text as a draft but would actually delete any progress. The internal memory, both RAM and for storage are minimal and since it's not possible to save apps to an external memory card, you're limited as to how many apps you can have at any one point in time. The phone suffered from freezes often because application would randomly turn themselves on and try to access the store for updates. My text messages would sometimes send twice with 2 or 3 days in between messages sending and it would also show messages as sent but would not actually send them on occasion. Overall, this phone was a disappointment and just goes to show, you pay for what you get.
Pros - Android system, full slide out keyboard
Cons - Limited memory, inability to save apps to external memory card, random freezes, too many pre loaded apps, texting issues.
