Rated 5 out of 5 by Dilip Its really cool...
Little difficult to use but manageable. Features are not good as do we find in other higher end models. In the end i can say its not BAD but an acceptable product.... Typing msgs r little irritating sometimes...

Rated 1 out of 5 by qualityengineer1 HORRIBLE!!!!!
This phone is absolutely horrible. The touch screen is miserable & you can't get to most of the functionality without the miserable touchscreen. The windows mobile works "OK" for a couple of months but then starts to get "buggy" and locks-up. Only way to get control is to take out the battery. My first one - the screen just quit working => can't even make a phone call!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by cutecat2 This is a terrible phone. Returned after 2 weeks
This phone is terrible. It continuously turns itself off for no reason and you have to keep taking the battery out. The battery wears down within an hour or two. It is extraordinarily difficult to set up and navigate. The touch screen drives you crazy.

I have very poor tower service where I live so there's a female voice that speaks from my phone approx. every 5-10 minutes ans says ?Verizon Wireless...Extended Network". I was told by product support that this voice cannot be turned off! How annoying.
Also, you have to slide the phone open to "wake it up" every time. This is annoying.

Rated 3 out of 5 How can that happen?
I gladly purchased the LG Fathom at my local Verizon store when renewing my contract.
The next day I returned the LG Fathom because you're not able to load Verizon's Wireless Sync to the phone. Why offer or own a smart phone when you're not able to seamlessly work with Microsoft Outlook on a device that is also equipped with Windows Mobile 6.5 to boot?
I cancelled my new contract and went back to my Verizon XV6800 with Windows Mobile 6.1...total bummer that left me asking "how can that happen"?
