Solid product...Sort of....
Date:December 12, 2011
Best Features: Performance, Features/Settings, screen size
"I'm another person who purchased this on the cyber Monday sale. Very pleased with the build. Although the back feels sort of flimsy when removed, when it's snapped on, the entire phone has a rock solid feel to it.
I'm also not just pleased, but amazed at the speed. Running multiple apps, multiple downloads, not a problem. Although newer phones seem to all have dual core processors now, the Revolution is uber fast just the way it is.
Included apps and widgets are useful, and the phone doesn't seem loaded with bloatware.
I agree with some reviewers that the voice quality could be better, but it's plenty good the way it is. Music playback is excellent and the Dolby feature really works great. Had no problem importing my itunes library.
I love and hate the display. The size and brightness are great, but there are signs of gradients in transitions such as sunsets. The viewing angle isn't great, but I kinda like the idea that the guy next me on the plane doesn't get to read what I'm reading.
The integrated Netflix is again, hit and miss. I have Roadrunner at home, and Netflix just blurbs and hiccups during peak hours. It works instantly and always on the Revolution. The problem is, the Netflix software doesn't use the phones accelerometers to adjust the orientation, so the charging port has to be on the bottom of the phone for the video to be right side up. This makes it impossible to charge the phone and watch video at the same time when the phone is sitting on a desk or table.
As everyone else has said, the battery life is the biggest disappointment. You really do need a charger at home, at work, in your car, and quite possibly a spare battery (I haven't purchased one yet.)
I'm still debating returning the phone for the you know what that will be released who knows when, but I'll still be satisfied with this one, if I decide to keep it."

"Considering trading this out. I was on the road after a long day at work trying to find a street using Bing maps and I didn't have a car charger.
So you can figure out the rest after reading the other reviews - lost battery power. Was very disappointed."

Good ....and a Half
Date:December 1, 2011
Best Features: Fast.sturdy.easy on the eyes
Cons: BATTERY of course
"First off this phone is very snappy and the display is great. I got a great deal on this on cyber monday and couldnt resist. But after i ordered it i was wondering if i made a mistake and should have just splurged and got the razor. Well after dilling with it a bit ...i really like it and the fact u can upgrade it to 2.3 gingerbread right out the box is great....but of all the good things i can say about this phone the is one major draw back. THE BATTERY of course .. let me put it like this..if u are using the phone and charging it at the same time the battery level actually drops. Wow right..and the phone also get very warm.. like sweaty palm warm .. well maybe the update will fix that. im downloading it now and i will run a couple of test charges and if it is still bad the back to verizon it shall go. I would recomend this to someone who is close to a charger all day"

Many problems, no solutions
Date:November 25, 2011
"I have found this phone difficult to use and not very reliable. It holds a charge only for six hours. The instructions are vague and there is no where to go for assistance. The online instructions don't offer any opportunity to ask questions so it is impossible to learn what you need to know. I am not at all happy with this phone."
